  • Soy sauce4 tbsp
  • Olive oil1 tbsp
  • Cornflour1 tbsp
  • Rice vinegar1 tbsp
  • Salt½ tsp
  • Black pepper¼ tsp

Method

  1. Cook the rice according to the pack instructions.
  2. Slice the broccoli and carrots into bite-size pieces.
  3. Fry the chicken in a little oil until golden and cooked through.
  4. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar and cornflour slurry.
  6. Bubble for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce turns glossy and sticky.
  7. Steam or microwave the broccoli and carrots until tender.
  8. Build the bowls with rice, veg and sticky chicken spooned over.
Tip: Let the sauce bubble for a minute or two so it turns extra glossy and sticky.
